Things To Do in Casa Grande

Casa Grande’s desert location and year-round marvelous climate make it the perfect home for those who enjoy the active life. Outdoor activities abound, with year-round gardening, hiking, biking, camping, and off-highway and recreational vehicle travel. Or you can jump in the car and in just a few hours you can be snow skiing in Flagstaff or the White Mountains, hiking in the Grand Canyon, enjoying a vacation in Las Vegas, or even lounging on the beaches of Mexico. The cities of Phoenix and Tucson are less than an hour’s drive away, and offer a host of cultural, sporting, and entertainment opportunities.

Within the city itself the Casa Grande Valley Historical Museum offers interesting and informative displays about the area, while the unique architecture of the historic railroad station and other buildings can be enjoyed on a walking tour of the older downtown area.
Exhibitions at the Casa Grande Art Museum feature sculpture, water-color, multimedia and Western art by Arizona artists, and the Casa Grande Valley Players offer several theatrical productions each year.

Golf

The combination of spectacular scenery and perfect climate makes Arizona a paradise for golfers, and there is an astonishing number of courses within a hour’s drive of Casa Grande, ranging from exclusive luxury golf resorts, through RV resorts to excellent public courses. Top professional players come to the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa every spring for the Tucson Chrysler Classic, while the Welch's/Circle K LPGA Championship at Randolph Municipal North Course features top female professionals.

The City of Casa Grande boasts seven superb courses, and more are expected to be developed soon.
